Simple CAGR

Privacy

The short version: the numbers you type stay on your device. We count visits so we know which calculators are useful, and that’s it.

The Details

What we collect and what we don’t.

What we never collect

  • The amounts, rates, dates or results you enter or see
  • Your name, email or any account details (there are no accounts)

All calculations happen in your browser. Share links put your inputs in the web address so the person you send it to sees the same numbers, but we remove that part before anything reaches our analytics.

What we do measure

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It records things like:

  • Which pages were visited
  • Which calculator was used and whether a calculation finished
  • Whether someone copied a result or a share link
  • General device, browser and approximate location information that Google Analytics collects by default

Cookies and storage

Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart. We also save your light or dark mode choice in your browser’s local storage so it’s remembered next time. That setting never leaves your device.

Your choices

You can block analytics with your browser’s privacy settings, an ad or tracker blocker, or Google’s opt-out add-on. Every calculator keeps working either way. We don’t sell data, and we don’t show ads.
